A technical storyteller responsible for crafting the perception of Salesforce’s System of Context as the enterprise’s shared memory, bridging technical architecture and media understanding of AI strategy. This narrative leadership opportunity involves deep collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, developing product stories, and leading media relations to communicate complex AI concepts in accessible, human-centered ways.
Minimum Requirements- Experience:
8+ years in communications, with a focus on B2B Tech, SaaS, or AI. Experience with product‑led‑growth (PLG) models is a plus. - Technical Literacy:
Ability to become an expert on topics such as RAG, metadata, workflows, and agent orchestration. - Executive Presence:
Proven experience providing counsel to Product and Engineering leaders to refine technical narratives. - Narrative Agility:
Collaborative mindset with ability to pivot as product features or launch dates shift. - Writing Excellence:
Exceptional ability to turn complex concepts into compelling, human‑centered stories that resonate with tier‑1 business and tech media.
- Develop and land the story of Salesforce’s foundational architecture layer, the System of Context, including how it functions as the enterprise’s “shared memory”.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to identify disruptive features—AI‑powered workflows, data integrations—to mine stories before release.
- Build and cultivate relationships with emerging media, tech creators and Substack writers to reach next‑generation customers.
- Translate complex AI concepts into relatable narratives for mainstream and consumer‑centric media, illustrating benefits to everyday users.
- Lead end‑to‑end communications lifecycle for product launches, including messaging frameworks, technical FAQs, and ghostwriting high‑impact blog posts, scripts, and bylines.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, prepare them for interviews and navigate sensitive topics.
- Direct external agency partners to meet proactive pitching targets and ensure thorough briefings on the agentic enterprise.
- Collaborate with global communications leads to maintain consistent, regionally relevant messaging.
Base salary range: $143,400 – $216,900 annually.
