Position Overview
We are seeking a part‑time IT Support Specialist in Seattle, Washington. The role provides user support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, network, security, and related technologies. It ensures smooth operation of existing IT systems and partners with the IT Manager to implement information technology and security initiatives that align with evolving company and customer requirements.
Responsibilities- Manages and prioritizes help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and follow‑up with users.
- Supports the ordering, set‑up, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning of computer, conference room and networking equipment.
- Collaborates with end users to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer and network issues.
- Installs and configures computers, peripherals and software applications.
- Oversees the creation and implementation of user accounts, MFA tools, permissions and access controls.
- Provides user training when necessary, communicating technical concepts in user‑friendly language for non‑technical users.
- Escalates complex issues to the IT Manager as necessary.
- Generates and revises SOPs for common and/or repetitive tasks.
- Associate's degree or greater in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 2 years of help desk or IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems (primarily Windows), Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with ticketing/issue tracking systems.
- Fast learner with strong analytical/problem‑solving and oral/written communication skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to provide superior customer service.
- Familiarity with engineering/CAD software such as Solidworks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or similar certificates.
Due to the nature of our contracts, only US Persons are eligible for this position.

The hourly rate ranges from $25.00 to $32.00, depending upon qualifications.
Schedule & ReportingThis on‑site position reports to the IT Manager. It is anticipated to run 25 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, with the potential to increase to full‑time in the future.
