Job Description & How to Apply Below

Amazon is looking for a Systems Program Manager to manage configuration, act as an SME on system capabilities, and serve as a primary point of contact for a third‑party cloud‑based construction management software.

The Systems Program Manager will need to be detailed, flexible, and take strong ownership of a global user base, including system functionality and process implementation. The successful candidate will be obsessed with internal and external system user groups, responsible for scoping and driving implementation of system functionality to the global team. They will work independently to prioritize, craft, and execute deliverables and effectively collaborate with partner teams that impact their primary user group.

This role sits within global construction, but is part of a larger organization that designs, constructs, and operates industry‑leading data center facilities. The candidate must excel at managing multiple priorities and learn the pain points of primary users, executing system implementation across subject matter experts with diverse disciplines and cultural or regional differences. The ideal candidate operates effectively in an ambiguous environment, drives structure without constraining business objectives, and has a track record of managing multiple projects to completion.

They will influence global team members, need to be highly collaborative, and exert influence without authority while working autonomously.

The Systems Program Manager leads and drives global initiatives that empower construction to operate more efficiently and effectively. This includes establishing system mechanisms that enable teams to consistently deliver against defined standards globally, managing system standards and enhancements for internal and external users, auditing metrics to identify and address trends or issues, and supporting the introduction of new technology that enables greater efficiencies within the construction‑management life cycle.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Managing existing and new system configuration of a third‑party construction management software, providing support to global internal and external users.
  • Acting as SME on capabilities of the construction management software.
  • Working with global teams to implement systems and process improvements.
  • Using team metrics to identify pinch points within current processes and implement solutions to address efficiency issues.
  • Working closely with the third‑party software company to manage overall performance, including identification, communication, documentation, implementation, and resolution of system‑related issues and enhancements.
  • Scoping and driving implementation of feature enhancements or improvements.
  • Providing primary point of contact and ownership of ongoing system implementation and functionality.
  • Developing, managing and reporting on system policies and compliance.
  • Creating and supporting large‑scale, cross‑company technical innovations/solutions for complex business problems.
  • Guiding and influencing people and processes in pursuit of the team’s goals and objectives.
  • Driving continuous improvements and documenting best practices post‑launch.
  • Monitoring user adoption post‑training/implementation and owning user satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
  • 7+ years of project, program, or product‑related professional experience.
  • 7+ years experience acting as an SME and primary point of contact for a global system through in‑person and remote methods in multiple countries.
  • 7+ years experience with design and construction management software tools and/or project or workflow management software.
  • 7+ years experience with the full lifecycle of a software launch (kick‑off, configuration, testing, user training, roll‑out) or significant experience with portions of the lifecycle.
  • 7+ years experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe thought‑out decisions, and develop long‑term strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years working in a technology‑company environment.
  • 10+ years experience with standard construction processes and file types…
