Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)Seattle, WA – Hybrid Onsite Testing
6 months (with potential extension)
Work ScheduleThis hybrid role requires flexibility. Onsite presence varies weekly, depending on project needs. Some weeks may necessitate full-time onsite work, especially for lab testing of cards, machinery, ATMs, and other products. Other weeks may require no onsite presence. Adaptability is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Advocacy
:
Champion quality assurance within the team, emphasizing both manual and automated testing methodologies. - Functional Analysis
:
Evaluate and enhance processes to boost efficiency, contributing to the extension of Fiserv DNA's functionality and the development of new payment industry products. - Test Automation Development
:
Design and implement automated test frameworks using C#, .NET, Selenium, and Azure ADO for test repositories and pipelines. - Manual and Functional Testing
:
Conduct thorough manual testing to ensure product quality, especially in areas not covered by automation. - API and UI Testing
:
Perform API and UI testing using tools like Postman and Swagger. - Agile Transition Support
:
Assist the team in transitioning to an Agile environment, promoting best practices and methodologies.
- Functional expertise with Fiserv core banking applications, particularly Fiserv DNA.
- Experience in extending DNA’s functionality and developing additional products for the payments industry.
- Proven experience in manual and functional testing.
- Ability to define testing strategies and roadmaps, with a focus on driving automation.
- A proactive "Quality Champion" mindset, blending manual and automation skills.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, Selenium, and Azure ADO for test repositories and pipelines.
- Experience with API and UI testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
- Mulesoft experience is a plus.
- Experience working in or transitioning to an Agile environment.
- Understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently, with strong planning, estimation, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of API/web services testing and test methodologies, including Scrum.
- Experience with Mulesoft.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
