Structured Communication Systems, Inc is seeking a Technical Project Manager (Level II) located in Seattle, Washington to join our team.
As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing multiple mid-size information technology (IT) projects ranging in complexity within an agreed-upon scope. This position also acts as an escalation point for internal Level I Project Managers and is the primary point of contact between internal teams and the technical aspects of the assigned projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.
Compensation
: $90,000.00 – $ Annually
Applicants must reside in Seattle, Washington and be able to work on-site at customer locations.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for managing multiple mid-size projects ranging in complexity based on business and technical factors.
- Acts as an escalation point for internal Level I, Project Managers, as directed.
- Applies principles and techniques used in budget management to all assigned projects.
- Responsible for identifying measures or indicators of project performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the project.
- Plans, establishes, and manages complex information technology (IT) projects within an agreed scope.
- Serves as the primary point of contact and acts as the liaison between internal teams, customers, and the technical aspects of assigned projects.
- Defines priorities, documents the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develops and maintains a detailed project plan, scheduling timeline, and budget for all assigned projects.
- Ensures the smooth and timely completion of projects by collaborating and coordinating with internal engineering resources to identify potential risks or unforeseen delays and dependencies, develops response plans, and realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
- Actively participates in creating design alternatives that meet the unique requirements of each customer.
- Ensures that the project meets quality standards and complies with the policies and regulations set by the customer.
- Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends to prepare project status reports as needed.
- Works with a diverse group of technical staff with varying degrees of technical ability.
- Assists with contract negotiations with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products.
- Presents and/or facilitates project status meetings and communicates project status to key project stakeholders.
- Responsible for following the current policies and procedures for tracking activities in our CRM tool,

- Promotes and maintains a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Ability to maintain and continually develop accurate product and application knowledge.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple mid-sized projects ranging in complexity and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Must be well-organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organization and time management capabilities and an exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage challenging demands from internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including communicating, fostering, and maintaining relationships with internal teams, customers, prospective customers, and vendors.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
