The Amazon Gift Cards Design team is committed to revolutionizing the gifting experience through advanced technology and thoughtfully designed experiences that distinguishes us from the competition. We are seeking thoughtful, talented, and multi-faceted user experience designers who love empowering our customers with high-quality interaction and visual design and who are eager to bring their creative ideas and hard work to our team.

We are looking for a UX Designer to help us build the future of the Amazon Gift Card experience. The right candidate is at ease assisting in research, the creation of scenarios, sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. You will assist the team in visualizing an experience in the abstract, gather relevant research data, break down complex use-cases, and ultimately help drive the vision into solid design deliverables.

This role is for a hands-on designer unafraid to take on the toughest challenges, scales their impact with proactive collaboration with other designers, and elevates the design quality of the entire team. You will develop strong relationships with fellow designers and partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business counterparts throughout the organization to launch bar-raising experiences for customers around the world.

• You collaborate with designers, user researchers, engineers, product managers, executives, and others to inspire and contribute to high-quality experiences.
• You will assist in research, create scenarios, sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes.
• You help visualize experiences, gather relevant data, and break down complex use-cases to solid design deliverables.
• You work in a fast-paced, agile environment and seek to deliver best-in-class design work.
• You develop strong relationships with designers and partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to launch customer-focused experiences.
• You put customers  needs first and aim to create thoughtful, impactful solutions.

• 2+ years of design experience
• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver
• Experience in prototyping
• Knowledge of design process
• Experience with visual design demonstrated through mockups and style guides

• Experience in a highly agile environment
• Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
• Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and accessibility standards

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
