About the Team
The Twitch Monetization UX team is responsible for designing the experiences that power sustainable growth for creators, viewers, and Twitch itself. We build and evolve the systems that enable creators to earn while ensuring revenue opportunities feel natural, rewarding, and aligned with the spirit of live communities.
About the RoleDesigners on the Monetization team work across the full product lifecycle—from early concept and opportunity exploration through launch and ongoing iteration. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data partners to design thoughtful monetization experiences that balance business goals with creator and viewer trust. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking, an experimentation mindset, and a deep care for the people who power Twitch’s communities.

You can work from Twitch’s headquarters in San Francisco, CA, or from one of our hub locations in Seattle, WA, Irvine, CA, or New York City, NY.
You Will:- Collaborate with a cross‑functional development team of product managers, engineers, designers, and more.
- Learn from streamers, viewers, and businesses about how they use our services and their desires to accomplish more.
- Think creatively about how to solve problems that will sustain streamers’ monetization journey on Twitch.
- Contribute to the design community at Twitch by using and improving existing patterns and approaches.
- Combine qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations and use that to improve your designs.
- Present your work to others by participating in design reviews and feedback sessions.
- 3+ years of practical experience in UX design with an emphasis on content discovery and/or content engagement experiences.
- Demonstrated interaction design and visual craft skills, including experience with prototyping mobile experiences.
- Demonstrated skills collaborating closely with other designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.
- An aesthetic sense and the ability to make confident decisions.
- Demonstrated empathy for the people using your software or products.
- Expertise with Figma.
- Experience in e‑commerce/monetization.
- Experience working on consumer software products
- Experience with AI tooling
- Experience executing research plans by talking to real customers
- Knowledge of design systems
- Formal education in Design, Interaction/UX Design, or HCI
