Some of what you'll be doing:
- As the ICT Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end contract lifecycle management, procurement coordination, budget support, vendor management, and payment process facilitation for the Port’s over 200 ICT contracts and procurements.
- You will maintain an accurate portfolio of ICT contracts and procurements and ensure required audit, authorization, and procurement information is consistently current and compliant.
- You will develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work with departments impacted by implementation.
- You will serve as the subject‑matter expert and strategic partner and manage all authorization, procurement, or preparatory needs for upcoming contract negotiations and recurring payments.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for vendors throughout the contract lifecycle and provide support to Port staff on vendor-related issues.
- You will support vendor sourcing, evaluation, and selection processes in alignment with procurement policies and organizational requirements.
- You will lead and facilitate Acquisition Planning Meetings with internal stakeholders.
- You will recommend and negotiate appropriate procurement methods for purchases in coordination with the Central Procurement Office (CPO).
- You will conduct research on industry Terms and Conditions (T&C) best practices and identify opportunities for risk reduction in areas such as cyber security and data privacy protections.
- You will provide accurate budget input for current and upcoming technology contract commitments impacting departments across the Port, including estimated annual spend projections.
- You will provide ongoing support to payment staff to ensure accurate, timely processing of contract‑related payments and strong vendor relationships.
- Experienced – You have four (4) years of experience managing a portfolio of contracts.
- Desired – We hope you have a bachelor’s degree in Business Information, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Information Technology or Computer Science.

- Technically Savvy – You can utilize technology such as Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, Workflows, and Fresh Service, as well as learn new technology and understand complex system relationships.
- Work Schedule – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role.
- Work Environment – This work will take place in a hybrid/in‑office setting at Management’s discretion.
- Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
- Security Requirements – As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle upon clearance.
