QA Analyst - Data Enablement Team

At lululemon, we're dedicated to pushing the boundaries of data-driven decision-making to enhance our customers' digital experiences. Our Data Enablement Team plays a critical role in achieving this by constructing and maintaining high-performance AB testing infrastructure and data activation integrations across our North American Digital Properties. We are seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic QA Analyst to join our team and ensure the reliability and quality of our data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a QA Analyst within our Data Enablement Team, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, and other cross-functional team members to comprehend testing requirements and objectives for AB testing infrastructure and data activation integrations.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the technical architecture, data pipelines, and integration processes of our digital properties.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and accuracy of AB testing infrastructure and data activation integrations.
  • Conduct various levels of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the seamless operation of our data solutions.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects, issues, and inconsistencies through meticulous testing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and contribute to their swift resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing insights and input from a QA perspective.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive test documentation, test case libraries, and other relevant testing artifacts.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in QA and testing methodologies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of AB tests and data activation initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and outcomes.
Qualifications:

To excel in the role of QA Analyst within our Data Enablement Team, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, preferably in a technical and data-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough testing across e-commerce web and app platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experiences.
  • Familiarity with testing AB testing infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration solutions.
  • Proficiency in crafting and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Practical familiarity with Jira and a proven track record of working effectively within an Agile development methodology.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Postman for API testing, showcasing your ability to rigorously validate data integrations.
  • Experience in setting up automation frameworks and validating code, for instance, using tools such as XCode and homebrew.
  • Solid comprehension of JavaScript and JSON, enabling you to effectively engage with these technologies within testing contexts.
  • Essential proficiency in Cypress, highlighting your ability to create robust and efficient automated test scripts.
  • Proficiency in working with IDE like VS Code or similar, reflecting your technical acumen and adaptability to diverse development environments.
  • Familiarity with Adobe tools for analytics, indicating your capability to assess and enhance the performance of data-driven solutions.
  • Experience utilizing Chrome Dev Tools, particularly the Network tab, to analyze delivery calls, API interactions, cookies, and storage mechanisms.
