Position: Senior Product Manager - Tech, Private Pricing Programs & Experiences (3PX)

At AWS, the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) team drives cloud adoption and business growth through innovative pricing strategies. The organization comprises Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) that guide transformative deals with industry leaders, and Private Pricing Programs & Experiences (3PX) that scale and optimize pricing solutions across our diverse customer base. Within GDSP, you will develop deep expertise in cloud economics, hone strategic thinking, and directly impact AWS’s market leadership while working with state‑of‑the‑art technologies and global clients.

The GDSP team is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, which offers customers access to commercial benefits in exchange for multi‑year spend commitments. Private Pricing accelerates cloud transformation journeys through long‑term relationships with AWS, delivering value in pricing, service access, and innovation opportunities.

The GDSP team seeks an individual who can communicate effectively across multiple technical and non‑technical business units and across geographies. Successful members collaborate to solve data problems, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver against high operational standards. The ideal candidate will tell the story of the data with minimal direction or supervision.

Key job responsibilities
  • Lead sales executive discussions to share insights, challenge status quo, and provide forward‑looking recommendations to enable strategic decision‑making and growth of Private Pricing.

  • Support the development of continuously evolving business analytics and data models; own the quantitative analysis of sales team performance, customers, deal team, partners, markets, and products/services.

  • Develop deep understanding of sales metrics, reporting tools, and data structures to identify and resolve issues, provide actionable intelligence, and propose new metrics, dashboards, scorecards or tools.

  • Build relationships and processes with sales, finance, sales operations, and other teams to address reporting issues.

  • Manage and develop analytical tools or reports that automate existing inspection mechanisms such as business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes.

  • Create operational templates and processes to compile and standardize disparate information that drives standardized reporting and metrics tracking.

  • Generate ad‑hoc analysis and reports with actionable recommendations based on stakeholder needs, through ad‑hoc data retrieval and analysis from data management systems.

  • Create new mechanisms and business processes that simplify, standardize, and enable operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning.

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.

  • 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, No

    SQL, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience influencing senior leadership through data‑driven insights.

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Experience owning technology products (both 1P and 3P).

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
