Your role

Role Overview Senior technical and strategic role responsible for leading large-scale mainframe modernization and cloud migration initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Requires deep expertise in both legacy mainframe technologies and modern cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise-scale mainframe modernization and migration programs to GCPAdvise executive stakeholders (VPs, steering committees) on cloud transformation strategies and roadmaps

Assess and modernize legacy systems built on:

COBOL, PL/ICICS, IMSDB2, VSAMJCL, batch workloads

Design migration strategies:

Re-host (Lift & Shift)
Re-platform

Re-factor

Architect GCP Dual Run solutions for parallel testing, validation, and risk-free cutovers

Design event-driven integrations using:

Pub/SubAPIs Big Query Cloud  StorageGKEDevelop end-to-end GCP architecture including:

Applications Data Networking Security Governance Disaster  Recovery Define data migration strategies, including:

Change Data Capture (CDC)
Reconciliation and rollback

Performance optimization

Drive automation, Dev Ops, CI/CD, and Agentic AI adoption

Support production cutovers, troubleshooting, and post-migration stabilization

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $ 88,544 to $207,401
