Senior GIS Support Analyst (Contract) – Hybrid Seattle
Rate: $70/hr W2 Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
We’re supporting a major utility client with a complex, enterprise‑scale geospatial environment, and we’re looking for a Senior GIS Support Analyst who can operate confidently in high‑expectation, delivery‑driven contract settings. If you’re someone who brings technical depth, clear communication, and the ability to stabilise and enhance mission‑critical GIS systems, this engagement will suit you well.
You’ll work across a mature ArcGIS + ArcFM ecosystem, combining hands‑on development, structured troubleshooting, system optimisation, and close collaboration with infrastructure, security, and database teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1–3 support across enterprise ArcGIS and ArcFM platforms
- Develop targeted enhancements using Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS JS API, and C#
- Support landbase applications and contribute to new feature development
- Deploy and administer ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, services, permissions)
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and service health
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across distributed environments
- Collaborate with infra, security, and DBA teams to maintain system stability
- Deliver clear status updates to SMEs and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- 5-10 years supporting and developing ArcGIS applications
- 5-10 years hands‑on experience with ArcFM
- Strong development background across Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS JS API, and .NET (C#)
- Proven experience deploying and administering ArcGIS Enterprise
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi‑layered issues
- Experience managing services, roles, privileges, and access controls
- Effective communication across infrastructure, security, and database teams
- Previous contracting experience - required
- Experience in the utility sector (electric, gas, energy)
- Windows Server administration
- FME experience for landbase workflows
- Strong documentation and knowledge‑sharing capabilities
