Solutions Architect, Digital Marketplaces

AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud.

• Partner with sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Educate Digital Marketplace customers on the value proposition of AWS, participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Act as technical liaison between customers and product teams and help evolve the AWS platform.
• Encourage migration and building of applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Depending on location this role requires 25% domestic travel.

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
