Enterprise Systems Integration Architect

Position Overview

The Enterprise Systems Integration Architect is responsible for designing and governing the enterprise digital architecture that enables Nscale’s hyperscale data center portfolio to operate as a unified, connected, and data-driven platform. This role establishes the integration strategy, systems-of-record architecture, enterprise data models, API governance, and OT/IT convergence framework that connects engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, enterprise business systems, and AI infrastructure into a single operational ecosystem.

The Enterprise Systems Integration Architect serves as the technical owner of the organization’s digital backbone, ensuring information flows consistently, securely, and reliably across Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, DCIM, EAM, CMMS, Net Box, Foundry, Service Now, telemetry platforms, analytics environments, and future AI-enabled operational systems.

Working closely with the Chief Systems Integration Engineer, this role defines the enterprise integration standards, canonical data models, interface specifications, API governance, event‑driven architecture, and systems-of-record strategy that guide every integration initiative across the portfolio. The architect ensures every operational platform contributes to a common digital thread supporting operational readiness, asset lifecycle management, predictive maintenance, enterprise reporting, and AI‑driven operations.

As the only leadership position hired during Phase 1, the Enterprise Systems Integration Architect establishes the architectural foundation upon which all subsequent systems integration, automation, telemetry, controls, and operational data solutions are built.

Systems-of-Record Architecture

Strategy to align data from EAM / Net Box / DCIM systems-of-record architectures and ensure coherence across all active sites.

One authoritative source of truth per data domain — no conflicting records.

OT/IT & API Strategy

Define the OT/IT integration and API strategy; govern the integration registry and shared data schemas.

Platform connectivity is designed, governed, and documented — not improvised.

Connectivity Standards

Set platform connectivity standards — Sunbird, Attune, Foundry, Service Now.

New platform onboardings follow a standard, reducing rework and integration debt.

• Understand Attune EAM / Net Box / DCIM systems-of-record architecture
• Define the OT/IT integration and API strategy
• Govern the integration registry and shared data schemas
• Set platform connectivity standards, Attune, Foundry, Jira
• Ensure systems-of-record coherence across all active sites
• Provide dotted-line integration-design guidance to the Telemetry and Controls & Automation roles

• 10+ year architecting enterprise integration architecture in OT/IT environments
• OT/IT convergence, API and data-pipeline design
• DCIM / Attune EAM / asset platforms, Sunbird, Net Box.
• Systems-of-record governance across multi-site portfolios

• A documented OT/IT integration and API strategy and integration registry before platforms are wired
• Shared data schemas and connectivity standards adopted by the execution layer
• Systems-of-record coherence across all active sites

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range: $160,000 USD - $212,000 USD
