About the Team

We are part of the Global Logistics team, focusing on data‑driven insights and analytics solutions that drive business growth and operational excellence in Tik Tok’s global e‑commerce logistics operations. The team helps improve efficiency and the overall user and seller experience on Tik Tok Shop.

Responsibilities

Data Operations: Collect, sort, and process daily data to support business communications such as weekly meetings. Monitor weekly and bi‑weekly operations, analyze results with basic statistics, and ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

Data Products: Participate in designing and processing logistics operation indicators to enhance the data indicator system, assist in building analysis dashboards, and contribute to discussions on optimizing data product functions for better tool practicality.

Special Analysis: Write regular and special data analysis reports, conduct in‑depth analysis of data changes, and provide insights for operation optimization and decision‑making.

Other Temporary Support: Respond to temporary data needs, provide targeted analysis content, and help solve sudden business data problems.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, such as course projects, research projects, or previous internship experience.
Knowledge of SQL; priority given to those who also understand Python or R.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship or project experience in supply‑chain, logistics, or consulting‑industry‑related analysis.
Participation in data‑analysis‑related research projects, competitions, or other relevant achievements.
Understanding of e‑commerce or online marketplaces.
Proven communication skills and teamwork spirit, and ability to collaborate with different teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Job Information

The hourly rate range for this position in Seattle is $33.25-$33.25.

Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 hours if hired in the second half). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for a housing allowance.
