ResponsibilitiesThe Global E-commerce, Seller Business team plays a critical role in driving the success of our Global E-commerce platform. We are dedicated to building and nurturing a thriving ecosystem of local and abroad sellers who bring diverse products, brands, and innovations to our marketplace on Tik Tok. We’re looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team and help our global merchants and partners grow their business.
As a Solution Architect, you will:
- Be the principal owner for the development and delivery of end to end OpenAPI-based integrated solutions, like order and fulfillment, merchandise, promotion, live and affiliate, IM and CRM, etc.
- Provide architectural design, roadmap planning for Partner Ecosystem platforms, such as integration with top global e-commerce sites like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Channel Advisor, Shopify, etc.
- Provide architectural design, roadmap planning and execution for scalability, availability, capital loss prevention of the platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and key account merchants to support the business.
- Be the single point of contact for the owned domain.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of production coding experience, or 2 years of experience in technical solution architecture.
- Proficient in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Python, Go, Java, or C/C++.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Proven collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups, both internally and externally.
- Solid understanding of open platform APIs and backend systems, with the ability to clearly articulate module structures, dependencies, workflows, and logic.
- 5 years of experience in e-commerce or related domains, or the ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of e-commerce business models.
- Highly self-driven and people-oriented, able to collaborate effectively with a wide range of clients and internal partners to independently identify key issues and drive optimization solutions.
- A creative problem solver who can thrive in dynamic environments with minimal guidance or supervision.
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $202,160 - $368,220 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
