As a Sneaker‑Inspired Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be the creative force driving innovative solutions at the crossroads of technology and sneaker culture.
We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in designing, integrating, and deploying enterprise solutions for retail companies who’s been successful enabling application and development teams to deliver a healthy, agile, and resilient ecommerce environment.
Responsibilities- Analyze, design, advocate for, advise on, test, install, document, implement, optimize, support, and educate peers on complex infrastructure solutions in public cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and private cloud.
- Possess and maintain a deep understanding of IaaS and PaaS services offered on cloud platforms, including strong familiarity with escalating tiers of compute abstraction such as virtualization, containerization, and serverless technologies.
- Design and operate environments supporting ease of use, self‑service, automation, and reliability of services for product teams, leveraging methods that include flexibility in order to prevent inescapable product adherence.
- Differentiation among compute, storage, networking, hyperconverged/hyperscaled framework, and data structure/placement options to intelligently drive product recommendations.
- Recognize opportunities for cost savings, build a model for pre‑deployment cost identification, and architect a solution for cloud infrastructure stewardship.
- Work with Security teams to ensure compliance with PCI, SOX, GDPR policies, as well as identification and tracking of vulnerabilities through to remediation across cloud infrastructure.
- Advocate for a Dev Ops‑enabled automated CI/CD solution that delivers tools and processes for rapid application development efforts and ongoing production operations.
- Build and articulate a cloud environment vision through conceptual and detailed models to communicate strategic direction.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to develop sound automation solutions.
- Construct and partake in product evaluation exercises and proof‑of‑concept implementations that rely on well‑architected success criteria designed uniquely for business solutions.
- Demonstrate good judgment, service mindset, and ability to identify problems in advance as well as present and propose solutions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation detailing configuration of deployed solutions at both the wide‑view and the granular level.
- Develop migration strategies and execution plans for transitioning workloads and applications from on‑premises environments to the public cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Identify challenge points in existing implementations and develop strategies to improve services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across infrastructure and engineering domains.
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, information services, or engineering field.
- 10 or more years of experience in information technology services and support.
- 5 or more years of experience in a design‑centric information technology role.
- 5 or more years of strong experience directly related to cloud computing in a large enterprise.
- Strong experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, configuration‑as‑code, and tiered, automated deployment technologies.
- Strong experience with enterprise code repositories, pipelining tools, and CI/CD enablement products.
- Strong preference for professional certification on cloud technology.
- Ability to influence others using reasoning, persuasion, and negotiation; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
- Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 – $170,000 per year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short‑term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
