The Sales Planning and Compensation (SPC) team is looking for a driven, curious, and passionate inventor to dive deep into the lives of sellers, identify key areas for investment, and build globally scaled products that help them be the best salespeople.
In this Technical Product Management role, you will deeply understand the processes, complex systems, and interpersonal networks that our salespeople navigate daily. You will identify ways to simplify, accelerate, or otherwise multiply their effectiveness, leveraging existing or new technologies will write press releases that visualize the customer's experience of a new product, determine when to build, improve, or integrate solutions, and iterate until the product is ready for leadership review and funding.
Beyond a strong technical background and proven product‑management track record, a successful candidate will be able to cut through ambiguity and drive strategy through executive influence. You should be a self‑starter who approaches complex business questions with data, curiosity, and a root‑cause mindset.
Key Job Responsibilities- Develop product strategy and definition for sales planning and compensation tools, platforms, and processes that support AWS seller programs.
- Define and manage a multi‑year product roadmap for sales planning and compensation technology, including the introduction of AI/ML to transform sales planning, quota setting, and incentive calculation.
- Capture, document, and communicate business and technical product requirements from Sales Compensation Operations, BU Ops, and Finance stakeholders.
- Translate sales compensation and planning requirements into features and user stories; drive technical team understanding of requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
- Manage technical build against business requirements for sales planning and compensation platforms; provide thought leadership with engineering on architecture and implementation.
- Lead document development for leadership reviews, including sales planning and compensation program changes, platform enhancements, and operational readiness.
- Own project status updates to sales planning and compensation customers, cross‑functional stakeholders, and leadership.
- Manage post‑launch activities including seller support, defect resolution, and iterative feature development.
- Establish KPIs for sales planning and compensation platform performance, seller experience, and plan accuracy; identify gaps and drive improvements in adoption and operational efficiency.
- 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and service experiences.
- Knowledge of agile product development and life‑cycle management processes.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
