Principal Product Manager, Technical, Database Services; AWS

Are you ready to reimagine how hundreds of thousands of builders interact with AWS databases every week? Can you imagine a future where millions of compute instances are upgraded to the latest database version in seconds, with zero downtime?

The RDS Platform team is looking for an exceptional product leader. This role is a rare intersection of UI/UX creativity and scale across a fleet of millions of compute instances.

You’ll own the RDS Console—the interface that customers use to manage their database infrastructure. The challenge is to take complex database operations and make them intuitive and scalable. You’ll also drive platform capabilities that operate at extraordinary scale, orchestrating upgrades across millions of database instances, designing customer notifications through the AWS Health console, and giving customers more control over their patching and upgrade experience.

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager
• 5+ years of technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or other related)
• Experience delivering large‑scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products with full product lifecycle responsibility from concept through GTM

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
