Network Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and communications sector, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Network Support team supporting infrastructure projects and network operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Network Engineer

• Collaborate with the Network Team and L1 communications engineers on small to large-scale projects.
• Maintain and support the network infrastructure with meticulous attention to detail.
• Handle physical tasks involving placement and setup of network equipment such as routers, switches, UPS, APs, and cabling.
• Provide clear and consistent communication with internal and external customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Conduct network site surveys and support project requirements, including night and weekend work as needed.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in design and support functions related to network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
