Data Analyst , Merchandising Customer Insights

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to define success and develop measurement frameworks
• Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insights on merch performance through hypothesis testing
• Responsible for delivering a suite of analytical products including analyses, dashboards, insights, and recommendations
• Present the results to stakeholders up to executive level and guide them to make the best use of analytics in their domain
• Own the definition and implementation of new metrics
• Find opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve overall performance
• Deliver high quality solutions and recommendations to a variety of problems both independently and through collaboration with team members and business partners

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations
• 3+ years of experience in extracting & manipulating large data sets from various relational databases using SQL (Big Query preferred)
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong coding skills in at least one statistical or programming language (R or Python preferred)
• Experience with statistical and machine learning algorithms (e.g. regression, classification and/or clustering)
• Proficiency with graphics/visualization software (e.g. Shiny, ggplot, matplotlib, Tableau)
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced and dynamic organization
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
