The Data Center Field Engineering Team owns the lifecycle of AWS data centers, including supporting new designs and innovations through end-of-life, with a focus on root cause analysis, capacity and availability improvement, and optimization of the fleet.
As a Data Center Asset & Documentation Coordinator, you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator, both in writing and verbally. This role requires contributing as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope includes owning the process of deploying MBOMs (Manufacturer Bill of Materials) in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, reviewing engineering/asset documents to extract and input parts lists into internal templates and systems, and maintaining accuracy for reporting and extraction during large-scale events.
You will help drive global processes and document development as part of the global FE Portfolio team. This role acts as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in PLM, responsible for accuracy and reports produced in PLM through MBOMs.
You will work closely with Field Engineers, operations staff, and cross-functional partners to ensure that asset and spare part documentation is accurate and usable. You must ask relevant questions, gain alignment from the right stakeholders, and drive clarity when information is missing or incorrect. You must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
Key responsibilities- Set up and maintain site asset and spare parts data through MBOMs, ensuring asset and spare part details match the digital record.
- Collaborate with FE and Ops teams to align and maintain data in PLM systems.
- Proactively perform routine data scrubs, identify anomalies, and correct issues while seeking opportunities to automate and enhance processes.
- Work with developers/TPMs to incorporate AI solutions to improve process efficiency and speed.

Basic Qualifications- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working in engineering, data center, or technical operations environments
- 1+ years building BOMs in Product Lifecycle Management applications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
