Senior Director of Design Program Management (DPM)
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword — it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience Salesforce Design Operations is looking for a Senior Director of Design Program Management (DPM) focused on Apps & Industries UX — a dynamic group that builds products across Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, and several industry solutions, enabling customers to create personalized, AI-driven experiences. If you're an operational thinker who loves building the conditions for great design to flourish, we are looking for you.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Build and operationalize how the Apps & Industries UX team works together — creating rituals, cadences, and frameworks that foster team connection, shared purpose, and a collaborative design community.
- Connect the dots between product roadmaps and UX priorities, managing design dependencies and helping both groups deliver successfully across business units.
- Serve as the strategic nerve center for Apps & Industries UX leadership — coordinating reviews, driving the team's roadmap of operational goals, and owning communications up, down, and across the organization to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Partner with cross-functional operations leaders — including Headcount Planning, Finance, Technical Program Management, and other DPM leaders — to seek alignment and optimization across a complex network of business units.
You're Our Person If...
- You have at least 12 years of experience working in enterprise software in any combination of Design, Design Operations, or Program Management roles.
- You have outstanding partnership and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional, matrixed environments across multiple departments and business units.
- You have thorough familiarity with how design gets done — what happens when and why, what dependencies exist, how to mitigate risks, and how to ship software at scale using agile or scrum processes.
- You have superb communication skills across multiple mediums, with the ability to tell a story, advocate for a program, and tailor your message to any audience at any level.
- A related technical degree required.
Even Better If...
- You have experience establishing credibility with senior executives and can influence peers and managers while building consensus in ambiguous environments.
- You have experience running events and programs for internal teams, external customers, or both.
- You have experience designing and thinking in systems — including visual page builders, mobile apps, content management systems, or app development tools.
- You hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
