Senior Cloud Identity Governance Access Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & IAM Engineer for one of our major retail clients to help evolve our identity platform, infrastructure automation practices, and disaster recovery capabilities. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who thrives in complex cloud environments, enjoys solving challenging infrastructure and security problems, and is passionate about Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and operational excellence.

You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable solutions across multiple Azure environments while helping mature lululemon's IAM and cloud engineering practices.

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ensuring environments are repeatable, scalable, and resilient.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Manage and support Azure Virtual Machines, operating system configurations, and platform services.
• Partner with IAM, Security, Dev Ops, and application teams to implement secure access controls and identity integrations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and operational metrics, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Automate operational processes and contribute to platform engineering best practices.
• Support production environments and ensure services meet reliability, security, and performance expectations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops, Infrastructure Engineering, or Security Engineering.
• Proven hands‑on experience with Terraform, including designing and deploying enterprise‑grade infrastructure as code.
• Strong experience managing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Machines and related infrastructure services.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, security controls, and access governance.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with engineering collaboration and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving cloud and security landscapes.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
