Associate - Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity

Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity Team in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will advise clients on cybersecurity incidents, regulatory investigations, and provide advisory services such as incident response and risk assessments.

• Guide clients through cybersecurity incident responses and subsequent regulatory inquiries.
• Advise on privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and risk management issues.
• Engage in meaningful client interaction and assume substantial responsibility.

• Experience with cybersecurity incident response and regulatory developments.
• Familiarity with privacy and cybersecurity laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, GLBA) is a plus.
• Am Law 100 experience preferred.
• Three or more years of commercial litigation experience with an interest in cybersecurity considered.
• Admission, or eligibility for admission, in the state of practice.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the state bar where the candidate will practice.

• Strong knowledge of data privacy and security laws and industry-standard frameworks.
