Job Title

Pre Sales

Working in partnership with Sales Executives, product teams, engineering, customer success engineers, and other multidisciplinary areas, you will be responsible for conducting technical conversations with clients, understanding their data environments, proposing robust architectures, and leading successful adoption to maximize the value of Oracle solutions.

This position requires solid practical experience in production environments, the ability to handle complex architectures, and the skill to translate technical and business requirements into scalable, secure, and results-oriented solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct technical sales activities, including discovery meetings, demonstrations, workshops, proofs of concept, and executive presentations.
• Evaluate client data environments, including data sources, ingestion patterns, transformation, storage, governance, security, and analytical consumption.
• Define personalized architectures involving the context of the Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Analytics, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Support workload scaling estimates, performance, scalability, security, and costs.
• Act as a bridge between business needs, technical requirements, and Oracle solution capabilities.
• Exercise technical leadership with clients, guiding adoption strategies, implementation roadmaps, migration planning, and operational best practices.
• Create practical labs, technical materials, tutorials, and implementation playbooks.
• Anticipate technical risks and propose solutions to maximize the success of Oracle technology adoption.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering teams, sharing client feedback, new feature requirements, and innovation opportunities.
• Conduct training, technical workshops, and presentations for clients, partners, technical community, and events.

Technical Qualifications Required

• Practical experience with programming in Python and Apache Spark in environments of data platform project delivery, consulting, and production.
• Knowledge of modern data architecture, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, storage, governance, security, and data consumption.
• Knowledge of solutions and standards such as Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Analytics, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Experience with public clouds and public cloud data platforms like OCI (OGG, AI Data Lakehouse & AI Data Platform Workbench), AWS (Redshift), GCP (Bigquery), Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data governance, data catalog, lineage, data quality, privacy, and data masking.
• Experience in technical sales, pre-sales, solution architecture, professional consulting, or cloud and data transformation projects.
• Ability to build and present technical architectures for different audiences, including engineering, data, security, executive leadership, and business areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and objectively.

Consultative, collaborative, and problem-solving oriented profile.

Ability to handle ambiguity, prioritize needs, and deliver results in dynamic environments.

Skill to influence technical and business stakeholders.

Autonomy to lead technical initiatives and support multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Ability to achieve technical training and specific role goals within 6 months of hiring.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in building data-driven use cases, such as risk modeling, fraud detection, demand forecasting, customer segmentation, or operational optimization.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning models and Artificial Intelligence applications.
• Experience with modernizing data environments, migrating to the cloud, or adopting lakehouse architectures.
