Responsibilities- Resolve customer technical issues via telephone, email, and web/live‑chat using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Provide tailored solutions and perform root‑cause analysis for complex problems.
- Handle escalated tickets from peer support teams and determine when escalation to service teams is required.
- Stay current with cutting‑edge technologies and continuously learn new tools.
- Drive support‑related process improvements focused on the customer experience, including tutorials, how‑to videos, technical articles, and trainings.
- Provide feedback to internal AWS teams to improve services.
- Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.
- Coach and mentor new team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science or a related field.
- 3+ years in technical support, system administration, database administration, or a related occupation.
- At least 1 year of experience in software development.
- At least 1 year of experience in an object‑oriented programming language.
- All candidates must meet the listed basic qualifications.
- Salary Range: $124,700 – $168,800 per year (Seattle, WA).
- Potential sign‑on bonus and restricted stock units.
