About the Job

At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." Our UX Engineers are versatile, passionate, and driven to advance the vision for our design teams. Comfortable working across discipline lines, you will develop products and prototypes that bring innovative ideas to life.

Joining a multi-disciplinary UX team, you will collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, using user insights to create industry-leading products. In a fast-paced environment, you will use your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user-facing technologies to: create prototypes that define product experiences; launch innovative features; build tools to accelerate UX teams; and bridge design and engineering to ensure efficient, high-quality execution.

We are an AI-forward team on a mission to fundamentally redefine how human roles are changing with AI. We aren't just bolting AI onto existing products; we are reimagining the day-to-day workflow from the ground up, crafting intuitive and magical experiences that seamlessly blend human with artificial intelligence.

As a Senior User Experience Engineer, you will be the crucial bridge between visionary design and cutting-edge AI capabilities. You will lead the prototyping and development of AI-driven interfaces, pushing the boundaries of what's technically possible while ensuring experiences remain accessible, responsive, and deeply human-centric. In this role, you won't just be building UI—you will be architecting the frameworks that translate complex machine learning models into delightful, everyday tools, setting the technical standard for UX engineering across our organization.

Users come first here is this more important than on our Advertising and Commerce team: we believe that ads and commercial information can be highly useful to our users if that information is relevant to what our users wish to find or do. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use AdSense to serve relevant ads on their website;

and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping, and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
