Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Infra Supply Chain Automation

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure—from data centers to networking, power, and cooling equipment. This role is part of the AWS Analytics and Data Solutions (ADS) team, responsible for driving data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

• Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user‑friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and other data tools that support business needs.
• Apply deep analytic and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complicated data sets.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support automated reporting.
• Act as liaison between business and technical teams to produce actionable insights and support ad‑hoc analysis for future innovations.
• Create data visualizations that communicate trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visual storytelling.
• Apply best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, test design, analysis validation, and documentation.

• 10+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi‑TB) data sets.
• Experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience with design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
• Experience with information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining.

Location:

Seattle, WA, USA. Salary Range: $130,400 – $176,300 USD annually.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
