Network Support Engineer II

Job Duties: Demonstrates good judgement to select the best methods and techniques to provide a diverse scope of technical support (Level1 to Level3) to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on F5 product and services, based on data analysis of a complex set of customer‑specific factors. Proactively and effectively communicates status, plan‑of‑action, and resolution of issues based on an ISO Quality Management System defined set of procedures.

Provides F5 customers and partners with a consistently high‑quality support experience. Participates in ongoing training with F5 products and related technologies. Maintains high schedule adherence (work hours and on‑phone time). Effectively manages case escalations to tier3 (Engineering Services) while maintaining customer communication, with limited assistance/mentoring from senior support personnel or management. Manages multiple routine cases and prioritizes based upon customer and business needs.

Performs additional projects as required. Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and promptly reporting violations of the code or other company policies. Part‑time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from F5 office in Seattle, WA.

Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Technology, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, or Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Technology, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, or in any occupation in a related field.

Salary: $138,258 – $142,405 per annum. Benefits: F5 offers competitive pay, 401(k), and other benefits.  F5 reserves the right to change or terminate any benefit plan without notice. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
