Job Summary
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is seeking a Delivery Consultant to work closely with customers in designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. This hands‑on technical role requires an advanced software/systems engineering background, coding/automation and design/architecture skills, and advanced technical expertise in AWS services. Successful candidates must be U.S. citizens with a current Top Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Experience designing, planning, and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud.
- Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
- Communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
- Leading design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands‑on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
- Performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- AWS experience with a wide range of services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation).
- Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions (AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Database Migration Service, AWS Data Sync).

SalaryUnited States, California, San Diego – $131,300 – $177,600 annually. (Base salary range; final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.)
