Learning Experience Designers on our Clinical and Business Applications Training team are responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of engaging and effective training content for various enterprise IT systems, with a strong focus on our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Epic. The ideal candidate blends expertise in instructional design principles, multimedia content creation, and an understanding of the clinical/operational context of healthcare IT.
They will also be a forward-thinker, leveraging modern digital tools, including AI, to enhance content creation efficiency and learner experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and content development.
- Expertise using industry-standard authoring tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise and Tech Smith Camtasia/Snagit.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing software simulation training.
- Strong understanding of modern web-based learning principles and multimedia development.
- Aptitude for learning and applying new technologies, with a specific, articulated understanding of how to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for content development efficiencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable learning content for diverse audiences (clinical, administrative, and technical).

Preferred- Epic PB, HB, or other rev cycle certification/accreditation.
- Background in learning experience design.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Current Epic Training Certification/Accreditation/Proficiency in at least one module (e.g., Willow, Prelude, Cogito).
- Tech Smith Camtasia and/or Snagit Certificate.
- Experience administering or publishing content within an industry-standard LMS.
- Experience developing visually appealing graphics for training content.
- Experience focused specifically on Healthcare IT systems training (EHR/EMR).
- Experience delivering instructor‑led training in person and virtually.
- Experience creating and maintaining Service Now Knowledge Base articles.
- Prior experience in a rapid development environment.
$97,665.00 - $ per year
Salary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
