We support all AWS data centers and all the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. This role leads category management for EE components from cradle to grave. It requires strong business judgment, technical acumen, and the ability to drive results through cross-functional influence.

Key job responsibilities:

• Supply and/or Capacity agreement
  - Negotiate supply agreement (i.e. capacity reservation agreement) to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risk, and support AWS growth.
• Q  and Escalation
  - Lead supplier QBRs tracking performance across delivery, quality, cost, and roadmap; deliver weekly project updates, monthly executive briefings, and own escalations to resolution.
• Sourcing Strategy
  - Develop sourcing strategies while tracking industry trends and aligning supplier roadmaps to AWS strategic initiatives.
• Cost
  - Own component cost management, driving year-over-year reductions in NRE, Capex and BOM+MVA. Manage PPV, spot market buy budget and variance analysis for financial planning.
• Contract
  - Negotiate complex supplier agreements and SOWs.
