Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or a related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's or PhD in relevant field. Experience with machine learning. Knowledge of ethics and socio-technical considerations of technology and the future of AI. Knowledge about the key policy issues affecting the internet (e.g., intellectual property, free expression, online safety, ethics and socio-technical considerations of technology and the future of AI). Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what's right.
You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
The Trust and Safety Launch Governance and Ops (LGO) team ensures Google products are developed safely and responsibly by managing responsibility risks and governance processes. LGO's Governance team establishes the system of standards, processes, and guardrails Trust and Safety utilizes to ensure our AI is developed and deployed ethically, safely, and legally. 'Governance' is the operational framework that makes'responsible AI' happen.
It bridges the gap between Google's principles and day-to-day technical execution.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
