Technical Field Trainer - Global AI Enablement Program
This is a rare chance to represent OpenAI directly at the forefront of global AI adoption. As a Technical Field Trainer in OpenAI's Global Enablement Program, you'll be one of the faces of the world's most influential AI company -- delivering hands-on training to engineers, developers, solution architects, and business leaders at Tier 1 global partner organizations across the U.S. and internationally.
You won't be building internal decks or maintaining an LMS. You'll be in the room -- running labs, guiding real AI workflows, and helping technical teams build genuine fluency with the technologies shaping the next decade of software. OpenAI will provide full product training and certification. What you bring is the technical credibility and facilitation instincts to make it land.
This role spans eight major U.S. markets with international reach across India, France, Germany, the UK, Australia, and Japan. It's a high-visibility, high-impact position for a trainer who's ready to operate at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and global enterprise enablement.
What You Will Do- Deliver instructor-led bootcamps, technical workshops, and hands-on lab sessions for OpenAI's Tier 1 global partner organizations
- Facilitate training for mixed audiences: engineers, developers, solution architects, technical consultants, sales teams, and executives
- Lead practical AI implementation exercises and guide participants through real developer workflows using prepared labs and sample code
- Troubleshoot participant issues live during workshops and help teams navigate APIs, SDKs, and developer tools in real time
- Translate complex AI concepts into clear, practical, business-relevant explanations tailored to different technical levels
- Represent OpenAI professionally and credibly with enterprise and strategic partner organizations globally
- Maintain consistent, premium-quality delivery across regions and diverse audience types
- Collaborate with program leadership and regional stakeholders to ensure successful training outcomes
You should be comfortable facilitating hands-on labs and technical discussions across several of the following areas:
- Generative AI platforms and ecosystems
- Large Language Models and foundation model concepts
- Prompt engineering techniques and best practices
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation concepts and common patterns
- AI agents and agentic development workflows
- API integration, SDK usage, and developer tooling
- Reading and lightly modifying sample code in Python or Java Script
- Cloud fundamentals across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Common AI application development workflows and technical troubleshooting
- Full OpenAI product training and certification provided
You're a technical educator who can speak fluently to engineers while also engaging sales and business audiences with clarity and confidence. You thrive in front of a room, enjoy guiding hands-on labs, and can break down complex AI concepts into practical, real-world applications.
You bring:
- Background in technical training, developer education, software development, consulting, or technical enablement
- Experience delivering workshops, bootcamps, or technical training for professional audiences
- Strong working knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI application development workflows
- Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and cloud environments
- Ability to troubleshoot participant issues in real time during live lab environments
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Comfort engaging engineers, developers, architects, consultants, sales teams, and executives in the same engagement
- Willingness to travel within your assigned region
- Experience delivering enterprise technical enablement programs for global technology organizations
- Background in AI/ML platforms, generative AI ecosystems, developer relations, or cloud infrastructure
- Experience supporting certification, badging, or partner enablement programs at scale
- Fluency in English plus a regional language such as Hindi, French, German, or Japanese
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- Travel and expenses covered
- PTO and paid holidays
