About the Seattle Housing Authority

The mission of the Seattle Housing Authority is to enhance the Seattle community by creating and sustaining decent, safe and affordable living environments that foster stability and self-sufficiency for people with low incomes.

Position Overview

The Ameri Corps Digital Learning Assistant supports digital access and learning in low‑income housing communities. This role ensures computer labs are welcoming, functional, and well‑maintained while helping residents build confidence with technology. The position also strengthens community engagement by recruiting and training resident volunteers, supporting digital navigation needs, and maintaining essential technology systems such as mobile lab checkout apps.

All activities will be performed under the guidance and supervision of program staff.

Key Responsibilities

The ACC Member will:

  • Lab Management — Assist staff with operating and maintaining computer labs in low income housing communities, ensuring spaces are welcoming, functional, and accessible.

  • Mobile Lab Management — Assist staff with maintaining and supporting the mobile lab app used for device checkout and tracking.
  • App Maintenance — Assist staff with maintaining and updating approved service tracking applications used to support program operations and ensure accurate service data.

The Ameri Corps Member serves in a direct service and capacity‑building role.
