The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to implement, automate, and manage AWS solutions to protect customer assets, enable customer security teams to operate more effectively, and ensure customers don’t accept unnecessary risk. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Cloud Security Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current security capabilities, and develop and implement optimized security controls in AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, you will be responsible for executing implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices, and managing customer security risks throughout the project.

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route
  53 & s3)
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
• 3+ years in automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience
• degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Dev Ops…
