IT Project Manager
Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Herndon, VA or Seattle, WA to oversee data center build projects. The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager will lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The role requires judgment, negotiation skills, influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non‑value‑add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and accelerate project delivery.
ResponsibilitiesLead cross‑functional technical teams throughout all project phases, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, requirements gathering, budget development, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Use strong communication skills to articulate project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
Apply project management tools, methodologies, and techniques for scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risk management, and develop metrics and reporting.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and network engineering disciplines, ensuring design feasibility and integration with existing infrastructure.
Qualifications- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
- Experience with MS Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint, Tableau, Kan Ban, Playbook, SQL, and systems integration is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risk management, reporting, and metric development/tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and SharePoint; experience with Tableau, Kanban boards, Playbook, SQL and systems integration is a plus.
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
The base salary range for this position is - USD annually.
