The Opportunity

As a Data Validation Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our Risk & Regulatory practice, focusing on leveraging advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision-making. You will utilize skills in data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modelling to support clients in solving complex business problems, optimising their operations, and achieving strategic goals.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members’ unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm.

In this role at PwC, you will analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system, take ownership of projects, and develop skills outside your comfort zone, encouraging others to do the same.

• Leading data validation and risk management initiatives to support client objectives
• Utilising advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from complex datasets
• Developing and implementing data quality improvement plans to enhance data integrity
• Managing and mentoring teams to deliver data-driven solutions and meet client expectations
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making
• Building and maintaining data pipelines and integration processes for seamless data flow
• Designing and deploying data visualisation dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau
• Collaborating with stakeholders to address data challenges and optimise business performance
• Applying statistical modelling and predictive analytics to solve complex business problems
• Overseeing the development of scalable data solutions to support client operations

• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 4 years of experience

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study:
  Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
• At least one of the following: a Certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualisation tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modelling/ML (Python, SAS)
• Demonstrating proficiency in data validation and risk analysis
• Utilising advanced data visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Excelling in complex data analysis and predictive modelling
• Embracing technology and innovation to enhance client delivery
• Mentoring team members to develop skills outside their comfort zone

Up to 40%

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
