The Tik Tok e-Commerce Governance and Experience team ensures our marketplace remains safe, trustworthy, and customer-centric across the globe. We protect users, sellers, and creators by designing policies, building systems, and managing operations that safeguard platform integrity. As part of the Governance and Experience (GNE) organization, our Risk Control and Security team safeguards Tik Tok Shop's global marketplace for users, sellers, and creators.

We blend data-driven insights, policy design, and technical innovation to combat fraud while preserving a seamless user experience. Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring the company's success. As a Global Risk Strategy Product Manager, you are the architect of the end-to-end risk defense lifecycle. This role demands a "full-stack" mindset, owning the journey from problem definition to impact validation. You will leverage data-driven insights and AI technologies to build scalable, automated risk frameworks.

Serving as a global strategic node, you will collaborate with regional teams, business partners, and technical stakeholders to protect the ecosystem from evolving adversarial threats.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification(s): +5 years of experience in Risk Management, Trust & Safety, or Anti-Fraud within large-scale technology ecosystems, with a proven track record of effectively detecting and mitigating high-concurrency adversarial attacks. Proficiency in SQL with the ability to autonomously extract insights and risk signals from large-scale, complex datasets. Strong understanding of machine learning principles, specifically in designing high-impact features and evaluating model performance (e.g., Precision, Recall, AUC) to optimize risk-reward trade-offs.

Hands-on experience with AI/LLM applications, including Prompt Engineering and the orchestration of AI agents to solve operational challenges. Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams, including Business, Data, Engineering, and Operations. A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership. Comfortable making high-stakes, data-backed decisions in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualification(s):
Familiarity with e-Commerce aftersales, returns/refunds and chargeback flows. Experience operating in global markets. Understanding of legal/regulatory constraints in consumer protection, refunds, and dispute resolution.

Job Information:

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $176320 - $280440 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
