Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're looking for an experienced Project Director to lead a Lightbeam implementation. Bringing significant implementation and leadership experience, you'll serve as the senior point person for client leadership, driving strategic planning and decision‑making across the engagement and acting as the bridge between IT and business stakeholders. Working directly with client leadership, internal stakeholders, and vendor partners, you'll manage a complex group of teams and drive the engagement to go live on schedule, resolving roadblocks, escalating issues, and driving solutions that keep every party accountable to the plan.

This is a hands‑on leadership role: you own the strategic direction and execution of the implementation.

About i2 Health Advisors

i2 Health Advisors is a solutions partner for health plans that want results, not just roadmaps. The company extends investments in established technology platforms into AI-powered infrastructure that modernizes and transforms operational workflows. Meeting our customers where they need us most, i2 Health partners closely with clients to make work faster, smarter, and more scalable.

What You'll Do
  • Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of the Lightbeam implementation, driving strategic planning and decision‑making
  • Serve as the primary point person for client leadership — running executive working sessions, communicating progress, and representing i2 Health with clarity and professionalism
  • Act as the bridge between IT and business stakeholders, aligning priorities and coordinating across internal teams, leadership, and vendor partners throughout implementation
  • Define and drive the operating model for implementation — sequencing, readiness criteria, and handoffs across internal teams and vendor partners — and ensure recurring stakeholder meetings are producing measurable progress
  • Build and maintain the project plan, task tracking, and status reporting in Smartsheet, issuing clear, consistent updates so leadership always knows what is done, what is next, and what is at risk
  • Continuously refine the process as the engagement progresses, standardizing what works and driving solutions to accelerate delivery
  • Proactively identify, track, and resolve risks, issues, and blockers, escalating early and driving decisions to keep the engagement on track
What We're Looking For
  • Experience leading complex system implementations end to end, with sound strategic judgment
  • Proven track record driving strategic planning and decision‑making, with strong written and verbal communication skills — able to serve as a trusted point person for client leadership, run a meeting, and drive to a decision
  • Comfortable and credible in client‑facing settings at the leadership level, working directly with client executives, business stakeholders, and external vendor partners — including experience bridging IT and business priorities across work groups
  • Highly organized with strong follow‑through — comfortable owning a process, driving solutions, and holding others accountable to it
  • PMP a plus, or demonstrated ability with core project management tools and practices: building and maintaining project plans, tracking and escalating risks, and issuing status reports
  • Working proficiency in Smartsheet for project plans, trackers, and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across a complex, deadline‑driven engagement
  • Lightbeam or other Population Health Platform implementation experience is a plus
  • Available to start as soon as possible
Nice to Have
  • Health plan or payer experience
  • Population health experience within a health plan or provider environment
