In this role, you’ll handle complex, high‑severity property claims with care and expertise, working closely with policyholders, agents, attorneys, and service partners. You’ll use your technical knowledge and judgment to investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims — ensuring fairness, empathy, and quality in every interaction.
Location: The successful candidate will work remotely but must be located in one of the following states: WA, OR, , or UT; must be able to work during our core Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours. Preference will be given to candidates in the following metro areas close to a major airport:
Seattle, Spokane, Boise, Portland, and Salt Lake City.
Salary Range: $104,910 – $114,477.
What You’ll Do- Lead investigations and resolve complex personal, farm, and commercial property claims.
- Partner with defense counsel and internal teams to manage litigation and achieve fair outcomes.
- Conduct on‑site inspections and create accurate property repair estimates.
- Serve as a trusted mentor and technical resource for other claims professionals.
- Balance workload efficiently while maintaining exceptional service and accuracy.
- 7–10+ years of property field claims and litigation experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction and property repair practices.
- Experience with both personal and commercial lines; farm owners’ experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Xactimate, Xact Analysis, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
