Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct deal specific pricing analyses for casualty and specialty reinsurance treaty business
  • Partner with underwriters to assess risks, evaluate treaty terms, and negotiate competitive premiums and contract terms
  • Analyze historical loss data, market trends, and emerging risks to inform pricing decisions
  • Conduct line of business or segment actuarial pricing reviews
  • Develop and maintain pricing models for various P&C reinsurance line of business
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes impacting P&C reinsurance pricing
  • Prepare clear and concise actuarial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Education
  • BA or BS
Certification

Candidates that have passed several exams and/or are near ACAS

Work Experience / Skill Set
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in P&C pricing (reinsurance preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in actuarial modeling tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other related tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with underwriters, actuaries, and other stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of P&C reinsurance concepts and pricing principles
