Our Business, Your Impact, Our OpportunityWhat you’ll be doing :
- Process Surety business through data entry, Underwriter support, understanding rating scenarios, and producing error-free work through strong attention-to-detail
- Develop superior working relationships with underwriters and act as the first point of contact with timely service inquiries
- Maintain successful relationships with agencies and clients
- Display and use knowledge with filed rates, minimum premium, rater and assisting with line cards
- Manage internal reports: monthly renewal, status reports, data cleanup projects, submission under review & quoted status
- Provide support to Surety UW Center team (other UAs, account management, bond forms, collections)
- Preferred 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Assistant or Underwriting Assistant performing similar responsibilities.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with effective written and verbal communication abilities across email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Edge/Chrome, and Nitro Pro or Adobe.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new opportunities and responsibilities as assigned by Underwriters or Leadership.
Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
