Overview
The Seattle office of Fisher Phillips seeks an associate with 3-5 years of employment litigation and class action experience. Ideal candidates will have experience defending employers in disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage hour. Experience advising clients on workplace policies and day-to-day legal issues is a plus. Qualified candidates will be comfortable drafting discovery, initial pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements with a high level of persuasive advocacy.
Successful candidates will be self-starters with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Defend employers in disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage-hour claims.
- Advise clients on workplace policies and day-to-day legal issues.
- Draft discovery, initial pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements with persuasive advocacy.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Admission to the Washington Bar and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school are required.
- 3-5 years of employment litigation and class action experience.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to and empathy for fellow team members and a strong client-service mindset.

Pursuant to Washington regulation, the annual salary range for this position is $170,000 – $195,000, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by factors including experience, seniority, skills, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
