I’m working with a well‑regarded plaintiff‑side employment law firm that are looking to hire an experienced attorney to help build and shape their Seattle presence.
This is not a back‑office role. You’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility and given room to practice the kind of law that originally drew many attorneys to plaintiff‑side work.
The RoleYou’ll manage employment litigation matters from start to finish, representing employees in wage and hour and related employment claims before state and federal courts, as well as arbitrators and mediators.
The work includes:
- Running cases end‑to‑end, from investigation through resolution
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Arguing motions and participating in mediations and arbitrations
- Preparing matters for trial
- Contributing to the firm’s growing Washington practice
- 3+ years of employment litigation experience (plaintiff or defense)
- Wage and hour experience is a strong plus, not a requirement
- Comfortable with depositions, motion practice, and case strategy
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a multi‑state team
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
