This role demands a high level of professionalism, an understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

As a Defense Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all stages of litigation including trials, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conducting legal research and drafting a wide range of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and other case-related correspondence.
• Representing clients in court and arguing motions.
• Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
• Collaborating with legal staff and other attorneys to develop defense strategies.
• Negotiating with opposing counsel to achieve favorable case resolutions.
• Staying updated with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the firm’s clients.
• Maintaining the highest level of professional standards and ensuring strict client confidentiality.

• A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• A current license to practice law in the state.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a defense litigation attorney.
• Proficiency in case management software and other legal technologies.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases.
• A strong understanding of legal procedures and court rules.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
