Legal Assistant

Description

Robert Half is partnering with a local law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Legal Assistant who is ready to jump in to assist and possibly join their close-knit team. This position is contract, with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Location:

Greater Seattle Area (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $25-32 per hour DOE

Duration: 3+ month contract, with a potential for contract-to-hire

Schedule:

M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and submit electronic filings at the state and federal levels, including in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska.

+ Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and answers.

+ Organize and compile exhibits and supporting materials for court filings.

+ Manage and maintain calendars to track critical deadlines and court dates.

+ Ensure compliance with civil rules regarding motions and deadlines.

Requirements

+ 2+ YOE as a Legal Assistant with experience with e-filing processes at state and federal levels.

The salary range for this position is $25-32/hr benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit  for more information.
