Job Description
Foster Garvey PC is seeking a partner-level attorney with at least seven years of experience in Franchise Law and a portable book of business. The position offers an opportunity to work with the Firm’s diverse business clients on complex franchise matters across various industry sectors, collaborating with attorneys in a wide range of practice areas across the Firm’s six offices.
Our dedicated team represents leading franchise businesses, providing comprehensive legal support throughout the franchise lifecycle. The role focuses on navigating franchise agreements, disclosure requirements, compliance issues, dispute resolution, and advising on franchisors, franchisees, manufacturers, and distributors involved in licensing activities that could be construed as franchises. Candidates will handle offering documentation, draft franchise agreements, address relationship issues, advise on compliance, and respond to governmental inquiries.

- A portable book of business is required.
- Seven years of franchise law expertise, representing franchisors and franchisees, handling offering documentation, drafting franchise agreements, advising on compliance, and addressing franchise relationship issues and governmental inquiries.
- JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and a required license to practice law.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing, and client‑service skills.
- Exceptional communication and ability to work as part of a diverse team or independently.
- Capacity to manage significant responsibilities, multiple projects simultaneously, and pay attention to detail and organization.
- Responsive and professional service.
The annualized salary range for this position is $200,000 to $325,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
