Job Title: Litigation Associate
Location: Seattle, WA
Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Litigation Department in Wilmington, Delaware. This role is ideal for an attorney with 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience who is looking to take on sophisticated, high-impact matters in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
Clerkship experience and/or exposure to complex commercial litigation is strongly preferred.
Experience with
insurance coverage and bad faith litigation is a plus.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with seasoned litigators on challenging matters while gaining meaningful responsibility and client exposure.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and draft high-quality briefs, motions, memoranda, and other litigation documents
Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex commercial matters
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
Handle matters independently while contributing as part of a team
QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) required
Active license to practice law in the State of Delaware
4–6 years of commercial litigation experience
Experience with
product liability, toxic torts, mass torts, and personal injury matters preferred
Insurance coverage and bad faith litigation experience a plus
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent academic credentials
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative litigation environment
